Former Swift Current Bronco Ryley Lindgren is headed to Calgary to play university hockey this fall.

The forward is joining the Mount Royal Cougars for the 2017-18 season after reaching the second round of WHL playoffs this past season with the Broncos.

Lindgren's 74-point season (27 goals, 47 assists), as well as 15 additional points in 14 playoff games, will fit in well with a Cougars offense that scored the second most goals in the Canada West last year.

Lindgren and Mount Royal will look for their first Canada West title as they open the season October 6th against the University of Alberta Golden Bears.
