Former Swift Current Broncos goaltender Jordan Papirny is off to a strong University career with the Calgary Dinos, as he was named to the U-Sports Men's Hockey All-Stars roster.

Papirny had a brief stint in the southwest with the Broncos, spending the second half of his final WHL season in Swift Current.

After a trade from the Brandon Wheat Kings in the 2016-17 season, Papirny posted a 3.15 goals-against-average in 17 regular-season games, to go along with a .909 save-percentage. Then, in 14 playoff contests, he posted blistering marks of 2.48 goals-against, and a .935 save-percentage.

After being named to the CIS (U Sports) All-Rookie Team last season, Papirny has a 2.73 goals-against-average and .889 save percentage in nine appearances this season.

One of two goalies from across the country to crack the roster, Papirny and the U-Sports Hockey All-Stars will take on Hockey Canada's World Junior Prospects in Victoria, B.C. from Dec. 12-14.
