As a rookie with the Bobcats last season, Lamb led the team in scoring, posting an even 17 goals and 17 assists over 55 games. However, the Bobcats, as a team, didn't fare so well, amassing just nine wins and two overtime losses in 60 games.
The 2000-born Swift Current product entered the AJHL ranks after a steady tenure with the Legionnaires.
He posted 136 points (46 G, 90 A) in 139 career games spread over three-plus seasons in Swift Current.
Lamb now joins an Oil Barons team that was middle of the pack in the AJHL's North Division last season, piling up a 32-19-9 record in the regular season, before making it to the second round of the playoff bracket.
