A Home Hardware Midget AAA Legionnaires alumnus has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey.
Owen Ozar, who played parts of three seasons in Swift, captaining the team in the 2017-18 campaign, committed to play college hockey at the University of Denver.

The Prince Albert product piled up 78 points (30 G, 48 A) in 108 combined regular season and playoff games with Swift.
The 5-foot-9, 165-pound forward then spent last year in the BCHL with the Trail Smoke Eaters. He compiled 14 goals and 26 points in 42 regular-season contests, adding nine points in 12 playoff tilts.
Ozar has found success playing with a tenacity and toughness well beyond his under-sized frame, and he looks to continue that trend at a very high post-secondary level.
The University of Denver Pioneers are coming off a season that saw them come just short of reaching the national finals of the NCAA's Frozen Four.
Denver reached the Frozen Four in the tournament bracket, but lost 4-3 in OT to Massachusetts in the semis.
Ozar is committed to play in Colorado for the 2020-21 season.
