Four Southwest Boys volleyball teams are off to provincials.

Leader hosted 1A boys regional volleyball.

The 6 team tournament had 2 pools of three.  

In Pool A, Vanguard finished 1st with wins over Mossbank and Dinsmore, while Leader was 1st in Pool B with wins over Rouleau and Glentworth.  

The semi-finals saw Vanguard over Rouleau 25-15, 25-19 while Leader defeated Mossbank 25-21, 25-14.  

With the two victories set up an all Southwest final was set up between Leader and Vanguard with Leader edging the Valkyrs 25-20, 25-20.

With their top two finish, both teams will now advance to the 1A provincials which will be at Chief Kahkewistahaw in Broadview on November 25 & 26.

The Fox Valley Legends were at Ecole Mathieu over the weekend for the 2A regionals.
 
The boys finished first in Pool A with wins over Ecole Gravelbourg and Hepburn.  

They then defeated Beechy in the semi 25-8, 25-9.  

In the final, the Legends lost a close contest to Kincaid/Ecole Mathieu 21-25, 25-21, 17-19.  

However, Fox Valley's second-place finish was still enough to advance them to the 2A boys provincial tournament in Medstead.

The Shaunavon Shadows captured the 4A boys regional volleyball title on Nov 19 in Outlook. At the 4A level, the Shaunavon Shadows are the regional champions.  

The Shadows travelled to Outlook and went through the day undefeated.  

They were first in their pool with wins over Caronport and Fort Qu'Appelle.  

Then they beat Melville in the semi 25-17, 25-18 before downing Fort Qu'Appelle in the final 25-16, 25-14.

Shaunavon will now travel to Biggar for provincials also on November 25 & 26.
