Jerrell Freeman
The Saskatchewan Roughriders have lost a big piece to the puzzle as Import Linebacker Jerrell Freeman has signed with the NFL's Indianappolis Colts.
Freeman spent 3 years in Green and White and was the Riders nominee for Most Outstanding Defensive Player last season.
In the 2011 season he had 105 tackles, six sacks, and three interceptions.
Freeman broke the news to Rider fans via twitter saying "Well you've been good to me RIDERNATION, but it i'll b in Colts blue next year!!!"
The 25-year-old Waco, Texas native had spent time in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans before joining Saskatchewan.
