As many people have seen time and time again over the years in the sport of baseball, good pitching has the tendency to get the better good hitting.

Without a doubt that was the case for the Swift Current Indians Wednesday night at Mitchell Field.

Edmonton Prospects' Starting Pitcher Noah Gapp spun a gem en route to a 4-0 shut-out victory for the Prospects.

Despite facing one of the most prolific offenses in the WMBL, Gapp had no problems navigating through the Tribe's line-up, as he went the distance, giving up just four hits, while striking out ten.

Meanwhile, Swift Current's pitching fared well for the most part, although unable to keep up with the pace being set by Gapp.

Tribe starter Juan Pizarro last five inning and allowed just one run, which came on a sacrifice fly in the second inning.

A trio of Swift Current relievers then combined to give up three runs, two of them earned over four innings.

Indians' Second Baseman Shane Dokey went 2-4 at the plate, but that was essentially the extend of the Swift Current attack.

It will be a day off Thursday for the Tribe before heading out on a three game road trip Friday, beginning in Weyburn.
