Swift Current Broncos forward Glenn Gawdin assisted on the winning goal as Canada beat Finland 3-2 at the IIHF World U18 Championship today.

Gawdin set Tyler Benson up at 16:21 of the second period as they struck three times in seven minutes to erase an early 2-0 deficit.

Canada finished the preliminary round 4-0 and won their division.

Gawdin had two assists in the four games and is now set for the medal round.

The Canadian squad faces Sweden in the quarter-final on Wednesday.
