The season may not be over just yet for Glenn Gawdin.

On Sunday, the Swift Current Bronco's captain signed an amateur tryout contract with the Chicago Wolves, the AHL affiliate of the St. Louis Blues.

Gawdin was selected by St. Louis in the 4th round (116th overall) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

The Richmond, BC native helped guide the Swift Current Broncos to the second round of the WHL Playoffs this season, the franchise's first time to the second round since 2008.

The Broncos season came to an end earlier this month, falling to the CHL's top ranked team, the Regina Pats, in seven games.

Gawdin will be with the Wolves as they continue 2017 Calder Cup Playoff Central Division Semifinals action against the Charlotte Checkers.
