Swift Current Broncos forward Glenn Gawdin scored twice as Canada beat Switzerland 5-2 in the bronze medal game of the IIHF U18 tournament.

Gawdin scored Canada's first and fourth goals in the victory.

He finished the tournament with four points in seven games.

Canada went 6-1 overall with their only loss coming in the semi-final against the eventual gold medalists from the United-States.

The win wraps up the hockey season for Gawdin who joined the U18 team after the Broncos were knocked out of the WHL playoffs.

The Richmond, BC product will now turn his attention to the NHL draft in June where he is one of the top prospects from the WHL.
