Swift Current Broncos forward Glenn Gawdin scored for Team Pacific in their preliminary round loss against Quebec on Sunday at the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge.
Team Pacific fell 4-3 in their opening game.
They will take on Broncos prospects Wyatt Sloboshan, Jackson Keane and Team West on Monday night.
Broncos defenceman Julius Honka and Team Finland play Russia on Monday at the World Junior Hockey Championship. They are 1-1 so far in the tournament.
Canada takes on Slovakia.
