Glenn Gawdin scored twice as the Swift Current Broncos beat the Regina Pats 3-1 this afternoon.

Gawdin's team leading 38th and 39th of the season were all a very stingy Broncos team needed in the victory.

After getting in penalty trouble early and allowing 16 shots in the first period, the Broncos held the Pats to only 7 shots the rest of the way.

Stuart Skinner was solid making 22 saves to earn the victory for Swift Current.

Ryan Kubic had a strong game for Regina with 41 saves to hold them in it.

Artyom Minulin added an empty-net goal and had an assist for the Broncos.

The two teams meet again Sunday in Regina. Listen live to Robertson Family Group Broncos Hockey on The Eagle 94.1 FM at 3:30pm.
