Glentworth product and former Female Midget AA Broncos forward Mahteya Dumelie will be continuing her game at the post-secondary level, and south of the border next season.

Dumelie will be headed to Ashland, Wisconsin to play for the Northland College Lumberjills. Northland is an NCAA Division III school, playing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).

The 17-year-old Dumelie played a half-season with the Female Midget AA Broncos last season, moving back and forth between the AA and AAA levels, where she suited up with the Weyburn Goldwings of the SFMAAAHL.

In her brief stint with the Female Midget AA Broncos, Dumelie put up four goals and six points in 15 regular-season games, along with a pair of goals in five post-season contests.

Shifting to the Female Midget AAA level, the forward had a goal and four points in 11 games with Weyburn. In 18 games with the Goldwings this season, Dumelie carries those same stats.

Meanwhile, south of the border, the Northland College Lumberjills carry a 3-9-1 record, including a 2-5-1 mark in the WIAC.
