Just one more game remained on the White Mud Hockey League schedule before the Christmas break, which was played last night.

In a battle of the league's two top teams, the Shaunavon Badgers welcomed the Gull Lake Greyhounds.

Playing on the road, the Greyhounds managed to sneak out a one goal victory, defeating the Badgers 3-2.

With the win, Gull Lake now evened the season series against Shaunavon at one game a piece, as the Badgers beat Gull Lake 5-4 in their only other meeting this year.

The White Mud Hockey League will resume play on Tuesday, when they Consul Rockets host Gull Lake, followed by the Cabri Bulldogs hosting Shaunavon on Wednesday.
