It was a tough second round yesterday for Swift Current golf pro Jeff Gross at the PGA Seniors' Championship of Canada.

Gross entered the second round at +2, but after 36 holes sits at +8, and 16 shots back of the lead.

The Chinook Golf Course pro was even on the day through nine holes, thanks to three birdies to offset a double-bogey and a bogey.

But, three bogeys and a triple bogey to close left Gross with a 76 on the par-70 Beverly Golf and Country Club outside Hamilton, Ontario.

He sits in a tie for 34th and tees off in the final round this morning.
