Swift Current's Chris Haichert and the rest of Team Saskatchewan are just one win away from gold at the 2016 Canadian Firefighters Curling Championship in Truro, Nova Scotia.

Haichert and the Saskatchewan rink, skipped by Gregg Tarasoff, defeated Team Alberta 8-4 yesterday afternoon in the 1-2 Page Playoff game, punching their ticket into today's final.

Leading the game 5-4 but coming home without hammer, Saskatchewan managed to keep Alberta from scoring in the 10th and wound up stealing three for the win.

Saskatchewan will now battle the winner of Alberta and Nova Scotia in the gold medal game.
