Another victory for Swift Current's Chris Haichert this morning the 2016 Canadian Firefighters Curling Championship in Truro, Nova Scotia.

Entering their final round robin game with record of 8-1, Haichert, along with lead Tyler Harrison, second Carman Koch and Skip Gregg Tarasoff, picked up a 4-2 win over British Columbia to finish first.

Team Saskatchewan will now have the rest of the day off as they prepare for tomorrow's 1-2 Page Playoff game, their opponent for that contest has still yet to be determined.

Saskatchewan's only loss of the tournament came in their opening game against Quebec, since then they have won nine straight games.

The final round robin draw will be played this afternoon.
