Swift Current Broncos defenseman Dillon Heatherington and Team Canada earned first in their group in a big way, blanking Sweden 6-0 in their final round-robin game at the World Under-18 Championship in Russia this morning.
The win gives Canada an undefeated 4-0 record in the round robin, and the top seed in Group B heading into the medal round.
Heatherington played 19:33 and was +1 with a shot on goal.
They'll take on the Czech Republic in Thursday's quarterfinal.
