The Hitmen led 5-1 after the first period, and that's the way it stayed.
The game didn't really mean much as the two teams will play again in tomorrow's semi-final, with the winner then advancing to play Windsor in Sunday's Memorial Cup final.
The Moncton Wildcats have been eliminated after going 0-3 in the round robin.
