The NHL's Central Scouting final ranking came out yesterday morning and there's a pair of southwest connections.

Swift Current Broncos defenceman Connor Horning cracked the North American skater's list ranking 164th.

Horning moves up 8 spots from his mid-term ranking after posting career highs this past season with 8 goals, 23 assists, and 31 points.

Another name to crack the list is former Bronco Logan Barlage, who's ranked 188, up 23 spots from his mid-term rank.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes centre netted 15 goals and 39 points this past year in the WHL.
