 Swift Current Broncos forward Shea Howorko has received an early honour as NHL Central Scouting looks towards the 2012 NHL draft. The Swift Current native is considered a "B" level prospect on Central Scouting's prospects to watch list.

Howorko scored 1 goal with 2 assists in 61 games as a 16-year-old rookie with the Broncos. He had 61 penalty minutes and was a -12. Howorko put up 36 points in 31 games with Notre Dame as a 15-year-old in Midget AAA.

The Broncos drafted him in the 2nd round of the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft. He is listed at 6' and 180lbs.

Four of his teammates were selected in the 2011 NHL Draft over the weekend. Adam Lowry went to Winnipeg, New Jersey picked Reece Scarlett, Detroit selected Richard Nedomlel and Washington drafted Broncos import draft selection Steffen Soberg.
