Hand shakes after last night's 4-3 Hurricane victory.
The K-Motel Midget Hurricanes moved on to the second round of playoffs in thrilling fashion last night.
Jayden Roosen scored the go-ahead goal with just 48 seconds left in regulation to lift the Hurricanes to a 4-3 win over the Notre Dame Argos, and a 2-1 series win.
Dalton Menke factored in all of the other Hurricanes goals with a hat trick.
Coach Tim Tisdale says it was great to win against a team that has played them hard all year.
“We've seen each other nine times now and we had no surprises out there but we stuck with it, they scored a deflection goal early on and it didn't look good but the guys stayed with the gameplan and Menke scored a big goal for us.”
The top-ranked Hurricanes advance to the league semi-finals where they will face Lumsden/Bethune, whom they beat three of four times this season.
