The Swift Current K-Motel Midget AA Hurricanes picked up their second shutout victory in a row, beat the Notre Dame Argos 4-0 at the Credit Union iplex Friday night.
Colton Adam scored two goals in the third period, and Thomas Hammerton added another in the third. Josh Dickie opened the scoring in the first and added an assist, while Jordan Wittman had two helpers.
Blade Roh made 26 saves for the clean sheet, and the Hurricanes outshot the Argos 41-26.
The two teams play again Saturday night at 7:45pm from the Fairview Arenas.
The Home Hardware Midget Legionnaires start a weekend homestand with the Saskatoon Contacts Saturday afternoon at 2:15pm, and Sunday at 12:30pm, both at the iplex.
The Kabos Bantam Raiders also have a couple of games this weekend, as they host the Regina Foxes Saturday at 5:45pm, and the Prairie Storm Sunday at 1:00pm, both at the Fairview.
