The K-Motel Hurricanes in action against Lumsden/Bethune Saturday night at the Fairview Arenas

The K-Motel Midget Hurricanes scored a 4-0 win over the Lumsden Bethune Lions at home last night, with Dalton Menke scoring twice for Swift Current.

Coach Tim Tisdale says it was a good way to bounce back from a tough week, where they were eliminated from Provincials in triple overtime, and lost Keegan Braaten and Dylan Gruending to mononucleosis. "We weren't sure what we had for a lineup," Tisdale said. "Everyone was sick all week long, the guys perservered today, and played a pretty solid 60 minutes."

The two teams play again today at 3:30 from the Credit Union iplex.
