After three straight years of declining attendance the Swift Current Indians reversed the trend this year, recording their highest total regular season attendance since at least 2006* and their highest per-game average since 2007. (*Indians attendance records only date back to 2007.) Despite only playing 20 of their 21 scheduled home games in 2011, the Tribe counted 6,173 fans between all regular season games, three per cent more than the previous recorded high of 6,020 who came through the gates in 2007. That worked out to an average of 309 fans per game, an increase of 15 per cent over 2010, and the highest per-game average since the team saw 334 fans per game in 2007.

The Indians wish to thank their fans, media, and community at large for their continued support of Indians baseball, and look forward to another lengthy playoff run in 2011.
