The Swift Current Indians were up to their old tricks again last night as they came back down 5-3 in the eighth inning to beat the Yorkton Cardinals 8-5.
Taylor MacDonnell got the win in relief for the Indians. Starter Sean Callegari went 4 innings allowing 2 earned runs on 6 hits while striking out 5.
Jake Gonzalez had a big day at the plate going 3 for 5 and with 2 RBI's.
Mario Sanchez also had 2 RBI's for Swift Current. Dawsom Porter went 3 for 5, Taylor Steen went 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored and Swift Current product Chad Schultz went 2 for 4. Both
Matt Spillman and Matt Henrikson walked 3 times.
The Indians are right back at it tonight against the Cardinals again in Yorkton.
