The Swift Current Indians are saying all the right things to begin a new season in WMBL.

The Tribe begins the new season on Tuesday night at Mitchell Field when they host the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets in the season opener.

Second-year import Shortstop Wandy Rosario is eager to pick up where he left off last season, as the co-winner of the Playoff MVP.  "I'm coming in hungry.  I'm going to bring a lot of energy to the table.  We will need a lot of energy to win a league championship, so that's what I'm going to do."

One of the new faces is Joey Evans out of Amarillo, Texas.  The closing Pitcher played last year with the WMBL's Sherwood Park Dukes.  So far, Evans likes his new surroundings.  "(Last year) we came here and played, and it was a lot of fun.  It was a nice atmosphere.  It's a small town, but I enjoy that kind of thing where people know you when you go out.  We went to a school yesterday and just got mobbed.  It was a lot of fun."

The Tribe continues nightly workouts at Mitchell Field.  The team is still awaiting the arrival of approximately four players.
