The Swift Current Indians are putting the final touches on the roster for this summer's team.

New Manager Joe Carnahan, who takes over for Harv Martinez, says they are one pitcher away from having their roster finalized.

Carnahan likes the mix of new and veteran players.  Local names like Conrad Funk and Cole Armstrong are back.  Returning imports include Catcher Bryan Golliber, Pitcher Sean Cooley, and the versatile Shaun Lee.

Carnahan says they've also recruited WMBL All-Star Middle Infielder Dustin Bissonette, who played last season with the Lethbridge Bulls.  Bissonette is originally from Gravelbourg.

Several new players from down south will also be making their way to Swift Current over the next couple of weeks.  One of the new players is Dominican-born Shortstop Wandy Rosario.

The Indians open up their season on the road in Sherwood Park at the end of May.  Their home opener is June 2nd.
