The Swift Current Indians opened a two-game series in Lethbridge Friday night.
It was close and the two teams entered the bottom of the ninth inning tied at 5 when Lethbridge scored the winning run to pull out a 6-5 win over the tribe.
Relly Mercurio, Brennan Peterson, and Parris Austin had two hits each for the Indians.
The Indians will try to get the split tonight when the two teams do it again.
