The Swift Current Indians couldn't pull off a win last night at home against the East Divison leaders, losing 4-1 to the Regina Red Sox.

Kirk Haviland had the only run for the Tribe with a home run. Mat Tew took the loss on the mound allowing 5 hits and 4 runs in 4 innings.

The Tribe now head to Lethbridge for a pair of games this weekend, and Coach Joe Carnahan says they need to turn in two solid games against a good Bulls team, saying they have a couple of good pitchers and hitters.

The Indians have also clinched the WMBL's Central Division for the eighth consecutive year. Carnahan says winning the division is a goal they have set out to achieve in the beginning of the year, but a bigger goal of winning the WMBL championship is still ahead of them, and winning the division will put them in a good position to do that.

You can hear tonight's game on the Eagle 94.1, with the pre-game show at 6:50, and play-by-play from Shawn Mullin at 7:05.
