The Swift Current Indians never want to lose two games in a row, and last night they made sure of it.

Coming off an extra innings loss to Weyburn the night before, the Indians rode the pitching performance of Ryan Flanigan for a 6-1 win.  Flanigan pitched 8 innings allowing only a run while striking out six in the process.

The Tribe scattered 7 hits scoring three runs in the third inning which proved more than enough.

The win moves the Indians to 24-8 on the season.  The two top teams in the league meet twice this weekend at Mitchell Field with games Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
