The Swift Current Indians begin the WMBL playoffs Friday night against the Yorkton Cardinals.

 

   The Tribe will host games one and two at Mitchell Field Friday and Saturday night to begin the best-of-five affair.

   The Indians finished the regular season at 27-13 while Yorkton was an even 20-20.  Yorkton won the five-game season series 3-2.

   The Indians are expected to start Wandy Rosario on the mound for game one.  

   In the other WMBL first round match-ups Melville will play Regina, Moose Jaw crosses over to the East to play top-seeded Okotoks and Medicine Hat will play Lethbridge.
