The bats kept rolling for the Swift Current Indians in WMBL action Sunday night. After a 9-3 win in Lethbridge on Saturday, they whipped Weyburn 13-4.
The Tribe scored in each of the first four innings to pull away early. Max Gordon had a massive game with four hits, three RBI and three runs scored. Veteran Conrad Funk also drove in three runs while three others drove in two.
Dan Rogers got the win after allowing two runs over five innings of work.
Swift Current now sports a record of 23-15. That's good enough to secure the Central Division crown and fourth place in the WBML overall standings.
The Tribe close out the regular season with home games on Wednesday and Thursday.
