The Swift Current Indians, led by Brennan Petersen's three-run home run in the eighth inning, improved to a League-best 25-9, and won their fifth game in a row.

The Tribe cruised to an 8-2 win over the Yorkton Cardinals to sweep the weekend double-header at Mitchell Field.

Pitcher Jason Oatman pitched eight strong innings for the win on the mound.

The Tribe has clinched the Central Division, and will now chase the best record overall in the WMBL along with Regina, Melville, and Okotoks.
