The Swift Current Indians have already booked their ticket to the WMBL playoffs, but they can play spoiler in the final weekend of the regular season.

Saskatoon is a game back of Moose Jaw for the final playoff spot in the Central Division after splitting a doubleheader with the Miller Express last night. They will have their playoff lives in their hands as they take on the Indians tonight and tomorrow.

"Those will be two tough games," said Indians Coach Joe Carnahan. "We want to play well heading into the playoffs. I don't think we can catch Medicine Hat, but if they slip against the fourth seed (in the first round) we want to make sure we have a better record than them."

The Tribe have won eight straight games including both parts of a doubleheader against Weyburn on Thursday. After getting the win but getting hit around by Saskatoon last weekend, Eric Huson gets the start for Swift Current tonight.

"He was just leaving a couple of balls up and some stuff fell," Carnahan said. "They're a good hitting team we have to give them a lot of credit. He's gonna have to keep the ball down, mix speeds and we're going to have to play good defence in front of him."

Game time is 7:05pm tonight and Sunday at Mitchell Field.

The Indians open the playoffs at home on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. They will play either Okotoks or Lethbridge. The Bulls are a game ahead of the Dawgs after Friday's games.
