Broncos Forward Reed Jacobson

Reed Jacobson extended his goal streak and point streak as the Kabos Bantam ‘AA’ Broncos extended their winning streak to three games on Saturday.

Jacobson scored a pair of goals, increasing his goal streak to seven straight games and his point streak to eighteen straight contests, as the Broncos rolled past the Weyburn Wings 9-3.

Outshooting Weyburn 42-18, the Broncos used four goals in the first period and four more in the third en route to their 15th win of the season.

Riley Dekowny and Levi Lamotte also scored two goals each for Swift Current, while Hayden Wilm, Keagon Little and Wyatt Wilson found the back of the net once.

Getting the start in goal, Justin Dueck turned away 15 of the 18 shots he saw in the victory.

With the win, the Broncos pulled within four points of first place Yorkton in the South Division.

Swift Current also holds a game in hand over the Terriers.

Next up for the Broncos will be a home game on Saturday when they welcome the Prairie Storm.
