For the first time in over 30 years, Saskatchewan is home to the top performer in the CFL.

Quarterback Kerry Joseph was named the League's Most Outstanding Player at the CFL player awards last night, beating out East Division nominee, Kevin Glenn of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Joseph was pleased to earn top honours, but was very quick to give credit to both his team and coaching staff for their contributions to his stellar season.

With just two nights to go before their meeting with the Bombers, Joseph adds that he's looking forward to now being able to focus on this weekend's championship game.  Kick-off is at 4:30pm.
