SCCHS Jr Colts basketball showed strong in 'The Friendly City' over the weekend at the Moose Jaw Invitational Tournament.

The Colts' tournament got off to a bumpy start, however, getting narrowly edged 59-57 by the Moose Jaw Peacock Toilers in Game 1.

It was a quick turnaround though, as the Jr Colts bounced back with a resounding 101-29 win over the Moose Jaw Vanier Vikings.

Then, in the Consolation Final, the Jr Colts were on the winning end of a two-point difference this time around. They squeaked by the Estevan Elecs 54-52 for the B-Side title.

They're back to SWAC basketball action with playoffs on the schedule.
