Fresh off winning the Junior championship, Shaunavon's Corey Bailey is in Prince Albert to try and capture the Saskatchewan Men's Amateur Championship.
Bailey shot a 74 at Cooke Municipal Golf Course in round one on Monday, and is +3 and in a tie for 27th.
Justin Wood of Unity, who golfs out of the Elmwood Golf Club in Swift Current, is in second at -4 (67), just one shot back of leader Michael Herperger of Humboldt who went in with a 66.
Swift Current's Jehremy Rhyde is 21st at +2.
Round two of the four-round tournament goes today.
