Max Kirkpatrick dropped a 7-5 decision to Gilbert Reynolds to wrap up the round robin at the Affinity Credit Union Senior Men's Provincial Curling Championships in Foam Lake yesterday.

Kirkpatrick and his rink from the Swift Current Curling Club finished with a 3-and-4 record, just missing the playoffs. The final goes today with Eugene Hritzuk taking on Brad Heidt.

Meanwhile, Heather Nedohin picked up a couple of big wins yesterday en route to the final of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Red Deer. Her Alberta rink beat Marie-France Larouche and Quebec 7-4 in the 3 vs. 4 Page Playoff Game, then knocked off Jennifer Jones and Team Manitoba 6-5 in an extra end in the semi-final to move to today's final against BC's Kelly Scott. Quebec and Manitoba will meet in this morning's Bronze Medal Game.
