A trip to Hamilton, Ontario is in the upcoming plans for a Diamond Energy Female Midget 'AAA' Wildcat.

Gull Lake's Taylor Kirwan received one of 83 invites to Canada’s National Women’s Program strength and conditioning camp for the Under 18 and Development teams.

Of the 83 invites, 80 confirmed they will be taking part in the camp from May 3-7.

For the 30 development players and 50 under-18 women attending the camp, skates will not be necessary.

The event will revolve entirely around off-ice sessions, including dryland training, fitness-testing, and physical and mental preparation.

The Lindenwood University commit has spent majority of her past four seasons playing for the Wildcats.

In the last two seasons with Swift Current, Kirwan posted 10 goals and 23 assists in 47 games.

The 5'8" defenceman has also tallied 8 goals and 9 assists in 24 career playoff games with the Wildcats.

Kirwan was a part of the 2015-2016 Wildcats team that came within two victories of a league championship.
