Diamond Energy Female Midget AAA Wildcats captain Taylor Kirwan and Team Canada's U18 female hockey team are looking to round out the round-robin with their biggest game of the 2018 U18 Women's World Championships.

Kirwan and the Canadians are 1-1 to open the tournament in Dmitrov, Russia. Canada lost to the host-Russians 3-2 early Saturday morning, but bounced back with a 4-0 win over Sweden Sunday morning.

The Wildcats' blue-liner, who has 16 points (6 G, 10 A) in 15 SFMAAAHL games this season, has spent time on both the second and third defensive pairing for Team Canada, however hasn't found the stat sheet through the first 120 minutes of the tournament.

Sitting in third place in Group A, Canada certainly could use a win on Tuesday against the United States in their final round robin game ahead of the quarter-finals.

The United States are in first with 5 points (1-0-1-0), while Russia and Canada both have 3 points - however Russia hold the tie-breaker due to their victory in the opener on Saturday. Sweden rounds out the group with 1 point (0-0-1-0).

Puck drop between Team Canada and the United States is set for 6:30 a.m. Saskatchewan-time in Dmitrov, Russia.
