He's been putting the puck to the net all season, and now Shaunavon's Kole Lind has put pen to paper, signing a three-year entry-level contract with the Vancouver Canucks.

Lind's Kelowna Rockets are first in the WHL's BC Division, and he's been a big factor, with 35 goals, a team-leading 50 assists, and a Rockets-best 85 points.

This past summer Lind was taken 33rd overall at the NHL Entry Draft. He also attended the Team Canada World Junior Selection Camp after an impressive performance with Team WHL in the CIBC Canada Russia Series.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound forward has an October 16, 1998 birthday, so he only has one season of eligibity left in major junior.

The Rockets are in action tomorrow night in Everett.
