Swift Current Broncos defenceman Max Lajoie is still an 'A' ranked prospect by NHL Central Scouting.

In their latest watch list for the 2016 NHL Draft Lajoie is one of only six WHL players to get that designation.

It indicates central scouting believes he is a first round level prospect.

Lajoie has 11 points in 24 games this season while manning the top pairing at even strength, on the power play and the penalty kill.

He is the only Broncos player on the watch list.

Swift Current is back in action on Friday and Saturday for home games at the Credit Union iPlex.

The Broncos have been staying busy this week with charitable activity while they prepare to get back on home ice.

Members of the team painted moustaches on Centennial students on Monday raising money to fight prostate cancer and participated in Meals on Wheels later in week.

Broncos assistant general manager Dianne Sletten also helped out with a Christmas Canadian Cancer Society fundraiser where she was "arrested" by Santa's elves for being on the naughty list and needed donations to get bailed out.
