Swift Current Broncos' Captain Cody Eakin will be playing with the Maple Leaf on his chest come Boxing Day.
The 19-year-old forward was named to Team Canada's final roster for the World Junior Hockey Championships in Buffalo.
Broncos' Head Coach and GM Mark Lamb says Eakin is deserving of a spot on the team, and adds he'll be a part of a good squad with some WHLers in the mix.
Team Canada plays its first pre-tournament game against Switzerland on Monday in Oshawa, while the tournament opens with a game against Russia on Boxing Day.
All of Canada's games at the World Juniors will be on the Eagle 94.1.
