The Coach and GM of the Swift Current Broncos is pleased that defenceman Richard Nedomlel will get a chance to join Grand Rapids of the AHL for the rest of the season.

Mark Lamb said it will give the Detroit Red Wings draft pick a taste of the professional level, “Now to take that next step whether he plays or not. He'll feel that speed, the strength, the conditioning, what that does is give the kid a real good experience on what it takes to that next level.”

Lamb adds it will be good for Nedomlel and wishes the whole team could have a similar experience, “It's good for everybody to get that if you can. I wish our whole team could get that opportunity at the next level, just to feel how hard it is.”

Nedomlel still has two years of junior eligibility left.

Meanwhile, graduated Bronco Taylor Vause scored the shoot out winner and was named first star last night as his Texas Stars beat Lake Erie 4-3.
