Four-outs away from having their three game winning streak snapped, the Swift Current 57's found a way to fight their way back.

The 57's cashed in three runs in the final two innings including a Ben Andrews solo shot in the top of the 9th, as Swift Current downed the Melville Millionaires 3-2.

With both Swift Current's starting pitcher Matt Michalski and Melville starter Mason Furlong cruising through the first six innings, the Millionaires found their way on to the scoreboard in the 7th inning.

After back-to-back one-out singles put runners on first and second base for Melville, a Michalski error allowed both runners to score to put the Millionaires ahead 2-0 after seven complete innings.

Fortunately for Swift Current it did not take long for them to respond.

With one-out in the top of the 8th inning, Bodie Cooper hit a double to chase Furlong from the game.

Coming out of the bullpen for the Millionaires, Tanner Luna promptly walked the first two batters he faced loading the bases for Swift Current with just one-out.

After a Cole Thibideau flyout was unable to cash in Cooper from third, Melville went back to the bullpen bringing in Eric Sandoz.

Just like Luna, Sandoz walked the first batter he faced as Blake Adams took a 3-2 pitch for ball four to cash in Swift Current's first run of the game and trimming the Melville lead to 2-1.

Nick Canas then put the ball in play and Sandoz committed an error allowing the 57's to tie the game.

Once the Millionaires were able to get out of the inning, Sean Chandler came into the game for Swift Current and retired the side in order, setting the stage for Andrews' game-changing home run.

Chandler then returned for the bottom of the 9th and sealed the victory.

Although not a part of the decision, Michalski finished the game going seven innings giving up two runs (neither of them earned) on just four hits, while striking out six.

At the plate, Cooper went 2 for 4 and scored a run.

The Chubbuck, Idaho native recorded half of Swift Current's four hits in the contest.

For Andrews, the home-run was his second of the season.

The 57's (9-3) will now return home to Swift Current on Monday to host the Yorkton Cardinals.

The 57's currently sit half a game ahead of the Regina Red Sox for top spot in the WMBL's East Division.
