The Canadian Hockey League in association with the Western Hockey League announced that longtime Swift Current Bronco Head Athletic Trainer, Jamie LeBlanc has been named to the Training Staff for Team WHL at the 2011 Subway Super Series.

LeBlanc has been Head Athletic Trainer with the Swift Current Broncos for over seven seasons.  Prior to his time in Swift Current, he worked for the Brampton Battalion of the Ontario Hockey League.  LeBlanc was also the Equipment Manager for Team West at the 2005 and 2009 World Under-17 Challenge along with the 2009 Western Canada Under-16 Challenge Cup.

“I am honoured to be a part of Team WHL’s training staff,” says Head Athletic Trainer, Jamie LeBlanc.  “I look forward to working with the highly-touted WHL prospects and potential national junior team members.”

The Subway Super Series features regional teams of CHL All-Stars competing against the Russian National Junior Team in a six-game event serving as an integral part of the identification process for Team Canada prior to the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship.
