A shake-up for the Midget AAA Home Hardware Legionnaires ahead of their home game against the Notre Dame Hounds tonight.

Coach Regan Darby and Manager Scott Rumpel have both resigned from the club.

Darby says he is stepping down because he doesn't have enough time to properly devote to the job.

Chairman Larry Johnson says assistants Sheldon Reinhart and Todd Hornung will remain with the club.

Former Bronco Andy Schneider will help out behind the bench until the Legionnaires are able to find a permanent replacement for Darby. Schneider heads back to Europe to continue his playing career in December.

Rumpel confirmed his resignation but declined to comment further.

The Legionnaires have a record of 2 wins, 6 losses and 1 overtime loss through 9 games this season. They finished 15-26-1-2 last season under Darby.

Swift Current is coming off 7-1 and 9-0 losses against Prince Albert.

Game time tonight against the Hounds is 8pm at the Credit Union iplex.
