Following an OT win Friday night, the Home Hardware Midget AAA Legionnaires dropped their second game of the weekend at home Sunday afternoon.

Swift lost 5-3 to the visiting Regina Pat Canadians at the iPlex.

Both teams traded goals and were tied 2-2 after the first period, but Regina pounced on Legionnaires mistakes to the tune of three second-period goals to hold the lead for good.

Reed Jacobson scored twice for Swift on the afternoon, with Mason Strutt and Boston Bird each adding two assists. Logan Linklater scored as well for the Legionnaires.

Ethan Hein lasted 25 minutes in net, allowing four goals in 17 shots. Backup Jacob Herman entered the game, turning aside 14 of 15 Regina Pat Canadians shots.

The Legionnaires (8-4-0-0) are next in action on the road this weekend in North Battleford for a two-game set with the Battlefords Stars (2-8-0-1).
